Aryus twitched the tip of her white tail as she saw the reaction she wanted to see, though she had seen the slight flinch, she wanted him to tell her himself. Knowing he was looking to, Aryus relaxed her features and looked away with a slight tilt of her head where her neck was slightly exposed. She hoped that this would show that she absolutely trusted him. Tilting her head back to scan the forest for danger absentmindedly, she sniffed the air for scents. So far nothing but the musky scent of her pack and the forest around Allard and her.
Comfort filled her body and happiness filled her heart as she sat there alone with Allard. For once the threats of the war floated away from her mind, and she fully relaxed, she had not felt this relaxed in what seemed like a thousand years. Suddenly she found herself looking over the male's figure again, admiring the strength and graced that seemed to mirror her own. Slightly embarrassed Aryus looked at her paws, hoping he had not caught her admiration, incase he did not link her back. How can he make me feel this insecure and confident at the same time? she thought as her blue eyes stared at the dark green leaves below her paws.
The wind blew again, screaming through the trees, whipping and bending the branches and leaves as it tore though the forest, this time the white fae looked up and saw angry grey glaring at her from the holes in the trees. Her smile faded alittle and she got up "We should go back to camp before the rain comes." her voice held slight disappointment, but the most stricking thing was the tone. Aryus was talking to Allard as an equal, it was not an order that she would have told a beta. Suddenly realizing that, her eyes widen slightly and she glanced at Allard to see if he had noticed.

He felt Aryus' eyes on her and he suddenly felt very self-councious. Out of habit, he retailiated and looked back right at her. Allard shifted his weight and he suddenly forgot everything he was doing except about how beautiful Aryus was.
A sudden caw from a bird made him realize what he was doing. He looked away from her silken fur.
Her voice caught his attention and he looked at her again. Allard twitched his ears as if inspecting what she had said. Something sounded weird in the way she had addressed him. Thinking it over, he realized she had talked to him as if he was an equal to her. That confused him for he was merely the general, not even a beta. She was merely suggesting that they leave, not ordering him to do anything. Allard had tasted freedom from code and it unnerved him, but at the same time made his heart leap a bit.
Allard looked at Aryus' eyes and realized she had noticed too. He flicked his ears and got up obdiently, but a tad slower than he normally would. "As you so wish, Aryus, but a patrol must be sent out later on to check again." His message was totally formal, but he realized he too had a different way of saying the alpha's name. He merely ruffled his wings and blew it off, not wanting to get into a battle with himself.

Aryus looked up at the sky once more, trying to judge the time that had left before the dark clouds unleashed their rage. Looking at the ground she then walked on, the paw steps of Allard all to aware to her, His formal voice, had knocked her to the ground and below. She had been wrong, he didn't feel the same about her. of course this wasn't true but she only heard his formal tone, not the way he had said her name. She bit back a sigh of disappointment and heart break. She thought that if she saw the signs, she thought she felt the connection between the both of them. "Maybe i misread... she mumbled to herself. Consumed in her feeling she walked head first into a tree trunk. Letting out a startled yelp, she sat down and shook her head. "Who in the world put that tree there?! she laughed at herself. Looking around to see if anyone besides Allard had seen it. Pinning her ears back she stared at the tree, it looked angry and savage the way the storm lashed and darkened its color. she snorted then looked away. her thoughts whirling. Droplets started to fall from the sky spattering on the leaves and misting the ground and wolves below. Tiny droplets clung to her fur, glowing when ever the remaining sunlight filtered through the trees. OOC: Sorry, i had to shake it up some, without having her tell him

He gladly began to follow Aryus back to camp, knowing full well that rain was coming. It would be best if they got into cover before the full might of it came bearing upon them. Every so often when a gust of powerful wind blew by, he half-opened his wings to cool off and have fun as it dragged him.
A sudden sound met his ears and he knew it was immediatly Aryus mumbling. He quickened his pace for he could walk next to her. Before he could catch up, she ran into a tree and cursed at the tree while laughing. He finally was right next to her and he turned his muzzle towards her. "The tree was always there Aryus. Your acting very strange today aren't you?," he chuckled. Then his eyes turned serious.
"Are you okay though?," he said meaningfully.

Aryus' head throbbed with pain from the contacted with the tree, she didn't hear Allard come up beside her, though she did hear his voice. She laughed playfully and replied "Nah this is just an Alphess being playful she smiled then playfully pawed Allard's shoulder. The closeness of his muzzle to her's had chased away her sudden disappointment and sadness. Even the angry lashes of the wind did not bother here as she looked into Allard's ever so green pools, she felt like she was melting under his gaze. His eyes suddenly turned serious, but it only seemed to draw her in more. Like gravity, his eyes drew her closer to him unknowingly, ever so slowly the small between their muzzles grew ever so smaller till the where nearly touching. He asked if she was okay and she took a few moments to answer. "I .... I'm falling for you, Allard she muttered barely loud enough for him to hear, her blue eyes sparking as she finely admitted her realization. She smiled then drew back from him, her ears perked, then she turned away and began to walk back to the camp once more, but slowly as she waited for him to reply to what she had just told him. She forced herself not to look back to see the expression on his strong face. She pushed the fear of rejection away, she was an Alpha, she had to stay strong.

He was glad to know Aryus was just being playful and wasn't totally out of it. Allard waited for his alpha to answer his question though. His eyes stared into her's meaningfully, wanting to make sure everything was truely fine.
Allard did notice that her muzzle was getting very close and he lifted a forepaw to move back when she finally whispered an answer. What he heard made him twitch his ears confusingly. What?! It took him a second to process what she had said and she began to walk off in that brief amount of time.
He was too stunned to move, but his gaze followed her form padding slowly away. Then what she really said came rushing into his knowledge and he felt his heard leap. Allard knew that she wouldn't reject him if she had taken the chance first. She had outright admitted it and now probably wondered if he felt the same or not.
Shaking his head, he began to run towards her with a growl raising in his throat. Putting his weight onto his haunches, he propelled himself a paw step away from her white shining fur. "Aryus," he growled at her. His eyes then changed into ones full of emotion. "I am falling for you too," he said embarressed. Allard shifted his gaze onto the leaf strewn ground, but then moved them back up to see her.
This wasn't something that was easy for him nor was it much better to actually talk about his emotions. Loners never did so, but that was his past and he was now a pack wolf. He was no longer alone in this world and finally had an anchor to hold him in place for the shifting winds couldn't mess with him.
