"Then you tell me this," Rave growled,"Can a wolf cure frostbite? In the middle of winter. Sure you can try and warm them, but you wouldn't have much heat your self." The great wolf stood and moved his wing to lightly bump into the bird."Fidget was tagging along to get food, that is probably why he saved me. Raven's may be useless in some, no most events, but a raven are still very intelligent birds. He knew healing herbs to stop infection and saved my life." Rave glanced warningly at the bird, he was planning something, " It may have been for his own needs, but I owed him a debt." A soft breeze blew over Rave's ears making the involuntarily twitch. "What do you mean by 'wolves like me'?"

Taipa clacked his beak together when the wolf bumped him. He listened to everything the wolf said as he responded to what he had said. The gryfalcon's eyes gleamed as the wolf fell for it slowly, but surely. Finally, the question erupted from the wolf. Here was the turning point from which he would snag the wolf and his mission would be done.
"Well, wolves can cure frostbite, if you live in a pack that is willing to let you live. You are quiet right though about Raven's being clever. There's even an old human tale that tells of how a raven stole the moon's face." Taipa laughed at the last part with sheer amusement.
Regaining his composure, he shifted his weight on the wolf's back. "What do I mean by 'wolves like me'? Well its rather simple, I meant a wolf with no loyalties who is alone and easily forgotten in this land unless he is killed mercilessly until everyone remembers for years who the wolf was just by his death."
This wolf was so fun to toy with! Taipa was getting closer to what he wanted though. His goal at the moment was to lead the wolf on until he realized how defensless he was. Perhaps then he could enlist the help of him, or want to join Ruin Forest or perhaps Black Valley and influrtrate it, or maybe even meet Storm,Dark, and Aphrodite who could use another member to their rag tag gang. Ah...so fun!

"You're right about one thing, I have no loyalties," He glared at Taipa, "And do not wish to have any." Rave kept his guard up. "I don't care if I am remembered or not." The gray wolf shock his whole body forcing the gyrfalcon off his back. This bird was toying with him and Rave didn't like it. "What is you want bird," He asked with hint of hostility. Rave didn't have time to sitting here chatting nonsense. If he wanted to make it to the mountains by midday so he could find a good place to sleep and scout the area. "If there is a point to this babbling then tell me, other wise I do need to go."

After being shooken off, Taipa gave a squak. He didn't quite like being tossled around. "Fine, I'll get to the point wolf." He flew up a few feet and went into the direction of the mountains and then back. Taipa had noticed that this young wolf had been going in that direction and now he had made his decision.
"My point is that I want you to be safe, alright, not in trouble, not dead, in these lands. I want you to meet some wolves I know and stay with them all right until the tensions in the area die down," Taipa said quickly with a smile. Snowstorm, Portal, Dark, and Aphrodite deserved some fun and could defiantly help this wolf more than Ruin Forest could at the moment.
Alighting down, he rose his wings to emphasize what he was about to say. "Wolf, these are not a pack, but loners like yourself. I can take you to them if you want or you can die, your chose. Either way I get something, food." Thinking about what he said he realized the concept of food could be interpretted two ways, payment or feeding off the wolf. The last thought disgusted him. He was a refined gryfalcon and would never do that. Ravens did that, so did crackles. They were a scrouge on bird kind in that concept. It was just plain disgusting.
The gryfalcon waited patiently for the wolf to answer. Taipa went in front of the wolf as he pumped his wings to stay muzzle level.

"What tension?" Rave asked. He was now considering the offer. If death awaited him because of some fighting, it would be best to stay clear from it until things died down. Besides he wouldn't become to attached to the loners so when the time was right he would leave promptly. It wouldn't hurt to meet them, at least he'd be weary. Caution was necessary around unfamiliar wolves. " Fine, but only until this 'tension' has pasted. I don't want to be killed either." Rave growled

Taipa smiled when he realized he had gotten the attention of the wolf. He listened and his eyes glinted. Yes, this was promising. "What tensions he asks," Taipa mutters to himself. Then he looks at the wolf as he finishes his decision. "Great decision Rave, for the chance of you getting killed has went down 15%. Hey it's better than nothing and these loners are tough and perhaps can teach you some tricks," he winked at Rave.
Lifting into the air, he landed on the wolf's back once again. "What tensions...you will find that out later, but right now we need to get out of this territory," he cawed anxiously. They had been in this area way to long for his liking. Now all that was needed was to head into the mountains and find Snowstorm and his lot. Hopefully Portal would figure out they were coming, being that the owl was rather weird in the head.
